Dear Families,
As we are near the end of Term 3, I have been reflecting on what a busy term it has been. We’ve had Catholic Schools’ Open Week, Mary MacKillop Feast Day celebrations, Book Week, sacramental celebrations, buddy class Masses, the Volleyball Carnival, said farewell to Mrs Ahern, Mrs Lavendar and Ms Siobhan and welcomed Mrs O’Dea, as well as all that goes within teaching and learning.
As we come to Week 10, we also finish a busy week.
Catholic Schools Music Festival (CSMF)
In Mrs Meyer’s absence, I feel privileged to support our talented choir students who have been working hard to prepare for the CSMF at the Adelaide Convention Center on Monday night. Our students made us all so proud of their talent and performance on the evening. While listening to their rehearsals, I discovered how beautiful they all sound together and how well they learnt the songs and actions, many of which were quite difficult to learn. The yearlong commitment really paid off for them all and every member of the choir was amazing. Thank you to their families who have supported throughout the year and for bringing them to the performance on the night.
Congratulations to Abhijot, Ramon, Askshath, Harry, James, Giao, Sukhman, Ava, Jordan, Joanna, Fatima, Thiv, Brodie and Huan Ca for their enthusiasm and commitment to the St Patrick’s Choir.
St Patrick’s Full Moon Festival
In 2025 we celebrate the cultural diversity of our St Patrick’s community at the Full Moon Celebration on Wednesday between recess and lunch. The rich cultural heritages of students and staff members make for an exciting event. Special thanks to the teachers, staff members and parents who prepared the students for the performances and to the families who were able to join us. St Patrick’s was filled with colour from the beautiful cultural clothing and lanterns that brightened up our school. We have much to be thankful for.
End or Term 3 Assembly
Please join us on Friday morning at 9.30am for the end of term assembly. Our St Patrick’s Captains will lead the assembly and highlight the learning and achievements our students have made as well as share some memories of the term.
I wish you all a safe and enjoyable break. Cherish the moments you can share as a family. I look forward to seeing you in Term 4.
God Bless
Anne-Marie Platten
