Society and Environment

Society and Environment at St Patrick's School involves the study of how and why the life experiences and relationships of individuals and groups in our community are shaped. This is reflected through particular social, cultural, religious, historical, economic, political, technological and ecological systems and structures which develop in different ways and places at different times. The Society and Environment curriculum is organised around four strands:

  • Time, Continuity and Change
  • Place, Space and Environment
  • Societies and Cultures
  • Social Systems
